Welcome to the Hospital Team Training Program (HTTP), designed to elevate the standard of care for new families. This certified program is a collaborative effort between Beginning India and the CFSI Foundation, developed with a singular social impact mission: to promote skilled lactation care within hospital settings.

This comprehensive course is specifically crafted for the entire hospital team—doctors, nurses, and specialists alike—recognizing that collaborative, well-trained teams provide the best support to parents and babies. The curriculum is expertly adapted for India, ensuring relevance and immediate application in your workplace.

The program is divided into two key parts:

  • Part One is based on the updated Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) curriculum developed by UNICEF, providing a strong foundational knowledge across 21 structured sessions.
  • Part Two focuses on practical, clinical skills. These sessions guide you in supporting families through every stage—from pregnancy and the first hours after birth to post-discharge and the early weeks of breastfeeding. The course also includes vital training on communication and professional self-care to prevent burnout.

Join us in this rewarding field. Enroll today to gain the expertise needed to make families feel welcome, seen, heard, and deeply supported during one of the most important journeys of their lives.
